Hm, that last time I checked it built.
*checking*
Ok, I get the same error.

Ups, might be a problem in libmarc-charset-perl.
libmarc-charset-perl was updated from 0.96 (that's the version
libmarc-xml-perl was last built with) to 0.97 an 8th June. But
lib/MARC/Charset/Table.pm has not changed between those versions.
libmarc-charset-perl builds fine, though.
If I build libmarc-charset-perl and then rebuild libmarc-xml-perl
using the local version of libmarc-charset-perl the error vanishes.
A debdiff on libmarc-charset-perl between the .dsc/.deb in the archive and
the locally built package shows no difference for the .dscs and for
the .debs:
  File lists identical (after any substitutions)
  Control files: lines which differ (wdiff format)
  ------------------------------------------------
  Installed-Size: [-424448-] {+400092+}
Tried again:
* Building libmarc-xml-perl against libmarc-charset-perl from the
  archive errors out.
* Building libmarc-xml-perl against the locally built libmarc-charset-perl
  works.
I'm a little confused ...
Cheers,
gregor, clonning the bug to libmarc-charset-perl
