There is new upstream version, 0.97. Can this be used?

I've added the other CVE number as pointed by Tony Cook in #421582.
Also bumped urgency to high.

Is security at d.o aware of this?
Are you subscribed to the package? (to track possible
NMU-caused problems)

This package really seems as pkg-perl maintained, but perhaps Jay Bonci
is not aware of this? I see kjetil being part of maintenance in the
past too...
