Patches to upsteam for libdata-stag-perl?

Dear Roberto,

thanks for pinging me, I have been waiting too long and will upload as
soon as possible (= today).

As indicated in the header of the patch, I forwarded it directly to
Upstream (because I did not know that CRAN had a RT).

Is there a special policy about this RT this in the Perl team (For
instance, is there a standard way to document that a patch has been
forwarded, should I open a minor bug corresponding to the patch in our
package, ...)?
