Umh... Being this a Unixy system, I tend to believe the behaviour is
correct. Anyway, reporting on unparsable arguments is correct - I'm
incorporating your patch (or something very similar, at least) to our
tree and forwarding it as a wishlist bug upstream. I'm meanwhile
tagging this as fixed - It will be closed when the package is actually
uploaded.
