Try setting the tab wisth to 8 (set ts=8 in vim).

Any readable indentation/brace style is acceptable.
Please don't re-indent the whole file, just the parts you change.
If you still feel like re-indenting the whole file, send that as
a separate patch (perhaps before the real/functional patch).
