Yes, it's certainly still present.

There's a patch in http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=40383
that looks OK. 

The only problem is that it needs the sqlite3_next_stmt() function that
was introduced in sqlite3 3.6.0. We only have 3.5.9 in Debian.

I hope we can fix this post-Lenny when sqlite3 is updated.
