I don't see much difference, the versioned reverse dependencies of those
need to be changed in both cases or perl 5.10.1 will break them.

As the libio-compress-perl package can be introduced without rendering
the old packages uninstallable, I suppose it would make the transition
a bit smoother (assuming it passes NEW before 5.10.1 gets in sid :)
