perl - lib compression - zlib

I'm in dependency hell here, I flat out cannot install this group of
packages. I'm trying to install mailscanner and it will not budge until
I resolve this case.  

If there is some order to install them, I'd appreciate knowing what it
is? Otherwise, I'm stuck. I'm running karmic and everything else is
pretty solid. Here's the error:
dpkg -i libcompress-zlib-perl_2.015-1_all.deb

I'm really confused as both libio-compress-zlib-perl packages have the
same title, both the (<< 2.015 and the >+2.015

Are they different or does one get installed before the other?? Thanks!
