libarchive-tar-perl has been removed because the module is now in
perl-modules, but the bzipped tar files are still not supported.

use Archive::Tar;
my $tar = Archive::Tar->new;
my $file = shift;
-r $file or die "$!\n";
$tar->read($file);

succeeds on .tar.gz files, but not on .tar.bz2 files. This is also
confirmed by the Archive::Tar(3perl) man page.
