hi!

vers strange. for some reason

a) the device node is not generic-mmc compatible - hence the error
(other software may work around that)

or

b) we have 64bit problem ... but i just checked it on an SATA 64bit
linux kernel 2.6.30 (intel icore7) without errors.

i can't find a bug "per se" but you can try to use the new PATA layer
within the SATA divers in the kernel. some BIOS options (like AHCI for
the PATA chip can also give hints for the kernel which layer to use and
how)

@debian: did someone else report a similar bug
