Ahh, I see it now.
not sure why, but I kept comparing against libmodule-install-perl where
I saw no file editing, but I see now clearly that files have been
chopped apart - marked with "#line NN" hints.
I will get in touch with upstream and try make them correct that bad
manner - and failing that see if it is possible to rip out those parts.
And for now I shall add all potential copyright holders of the inc/
files.
