Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hello,

As discussed in #629472, we plan to make the perl (5.14) package depend
on libswitch-perl and libclass-isa-perl for wheezy.

This is because those two modules will disappear from the perl package
in the 5.10 (squeeze) -> 5.14 upgrade (wheezy) window, and we would like to
ensure that partial upgrades from squeeze to wheezy do not break by
ensuring that the separately packaged versions are installed.

As such, these two packages need to have their priority raised from
optional to standard.

Once the dependencies have been added to the perl package (soon) I will
file a bug on perl reminding us to remove them later, as well as bugs
on libswitch-perl and libclass-isa-perl reminding us to lower the priority
accordingly, once wheezy has been released.

Thanks,
Dominic.
