	As stated above closing this ticket for >> 6 does not imply that the 
problem has been resolved. It simply implies that we consider that the 
issue is now best handled in the libnet-http-perl package.
I have been looking at fixing it there, but the use of colons in IPv6 
addresses really means that any Debian patch risks forking the patch. I 
have been trying to engage upstream in these issues. If this issue 
particularly affects you, you might stand a better chance of getting it 
addressed on the libwww-perl mailing list.
