Bug#628699: libnet-amazon-s3-tools-perl: s3put does not work at all

when I use s3put, having set the environment variables with the Amazon credentials,
the commandline hangs and does not report back till I interrupt it with a ctrl+C
....tcpdump does not give any open connection towards Amazon S3
on the other hand, other executables like s3ls, works like a charm
