Hi,

G. Barr released version 0.43 of perl-ldap, integrating
* a fix for the patch debian/patches/localize-dollar_.patch
* new features & bug fixes

Please consider packaging it.

PS: If you want to stay consistent with upstream's version numberng,
you may need to increase the epoch (1:0.4001-2 > 1:0.43-x).
