No idea, it looks like it's been that way forever. Thanks for the
note, I've filed http://bugs.debian.org/660184 to get it removed.

It's really APR 1.4.5. I don't know why there's 1.0 in the name,
but that's where the headers are here.

As for the 'unreferenced scalar' issue, I can confirm that RC2
fixes the issue for me. Thanks, Torsten!
