Fixed upstream in 0.24, which we already have in git.

It would like to have a newer Carp:

Warning: prerequisite Carp 1.22 not found. We have 1.20.

But it still builds fine, so let's ignore this for now.
And the "language" patch doesn't apply; let's see ...
