Package: libconfig-model-dpkg-perl
Severity: minor
Version: 2.041

Hi,

playing around with "cme fix dpkg" in the silo source package, cme
bailed out as follows:

$ cme fix dpkg
defined(@array) is deprecated at /usr/share/perl5/Log/Log4perl/Config.pm
line 864.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)
Fixing from Dpkg...
File debian/patches/dpkg/patches:"# No Debian-specific patches
currently." line ? has a syntax error:
cannot read patch debian/patches/# No Debian-specific patches
        currently.

Exit code was 2. The contents of debian/patches/series is just one line:

# No Debian-specific patches currently.

AFAIK quilt as well as dpkg support comments in series files -- at least
I use that in packages with larger amounts of patches, like e.g. screen,
a lot.

Happened on sid/sparc. Details on request as I'm writing that report
from another box.

		Regards, Axel
