That is already there ... from *which* branch are you building?

You need to use the master1.7 branch.

*what* are you pulling and which branch are you using.

I *really* believe that something is wrong at your side. Just to
be clear.

* you are pulling and pushing to 
[remote "origin"]
        url = git+ssh://YOURID@git.debian.org/git/debian-tex/biber.git
        fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*

* you are using the *master1.7* branch
  git-buildpackage --git-debian-branch=master1.7 ....

* you have all committed changes in there?


If you clone the repo a new, you have to checkout the master1.7
	git checkout master1.7
and git should tell you that you are tracking the remote branch
of the same name now...
