Interesting bug.
* It failed on the buildds.
* It did not fail for Gianfranco in #745229.
* It also works for me (cowbuilder sid amd64).
* dod seems to imply in https://github.com/PerlGameDev/SDL/issues/260
  that he can reproduce the problem, at least somehow.

Where does this leave us?
