Unfortunately, the DEP-5 spec [1] mentions that:
- "Extra fields can be added to any paragraph."
- Upstream-Contact field is optional.

So you file is correct from the spec point of view. 

I don't know what can be done to improve the output of cme for this case.

May be add a note (not a warning) when an extra field is found?
