There is no big urgency, but the gsl transition has been dragging
along for a while now. I'd like to see it end soon. As part of that
I'd prefer an update of pdl to the latest upstream release because it
has been broken by the proj transition some time ago, but due to
maintainer inactivity hasn't been fixed still.
