Thanks for reporting this!

This is already on my mental TODO-list (therefore thanks for making it 
visible by this bugreport!): One of the reasons for my adopting and 
refactoring licensecheck was to incorporate the extensions developed as 
part of CDBS - including the /usr/lib/cdbs/license-miner which extracts 
metadata from binary files like fonts and graphics files.
