Mailing list suggests this is fixed in 3.0.31-2:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-perl-maintainers/2017-September/115240.html
Note that the conflict was installing libregexp-pattern-license-perl
3.0.31-1 with licensecheck 3.0.30-1. Installation of licensecheck
3.0.31-1 was unaffected and libregexp-pattern-license-perl 3.0.31-1
could then be installed with "apt-get install -f". A longer transcript:
Selecting previously unselected package libregexp-pattern-license-perl.
Preparing to unpack
.../18-libregexp-pattern-license-perl_3.0.31-1_all.deb ...
Unpacking libregexp-pattern-license-perl (3.0.31-1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-yyYhiu/18-libregexp-pattern-license-perl_3.0.31-1_all.deb
(--unpack):
trying to overwrite
'/usr/share/man/man3/Regexp::Pattern::License.3pm.gz', which is also in
package licensecheck 3.0.30-1
Preparing to unpack .../19-licensecheck_3.0.31-1_all.deb ...
Unpacking licensecheck (3.0.31-1) over (3.0.30-1) ...
The problem is the installation order, which is likely fixed in 3.0.31-2
(with a Breaks:?).
Kind regards,
