Actually this is intended, in the case that Vcs-* points to any
*.debian.org host which is not salsa. Whatever is written there is
wrong (in some weeks).

Or at least, if I remember Dominique's commits correctly, unsetting
the Vcs-* variables is needed for applying the fixups for well-known
locations (perl-team, med-team, ...).

But maybe dod has additional ideas …
