Bug#886363: libdatetime-locale-perl: After upgrade from Jessie to Stretch, Can't locate DateTime/Locale/en_US.pm in @INC

Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading my system from Jessie to Stretch, I get the following error messages from a perl skript that used to work fine before the upgrade:

I tried to upgrade the libdatetime-locale-perl package to the 1.17-1 version from Testing but the problem stays the same. Is there a way to fix this?
