Backport of pkg-components

Dear Perl Maintainers,

Please cc me, as I am not subscribed to the list.

In the Javascript Team, we would like to backport our main tool for
working with node (npm) to stretch backports, as npm unfortunately
missed the stretch release. This involves backporting lots of dependencies.

This would mean backporting the latest version (0.10) of pkg-components
which we have started using to bundle small node-modules.

Would there be any objection to me backporting pkg-components to
stretch? Alternatively, or preferably, would someone in the Perl Team be
willing? It would avoid me messing about with your git branches in a
non-preferred way.

Regards,

Ross Gammon
