Bug#930474: libemail-valid-perl: Fails to correctly verify address with just angle brackets

Patrik Schindler poc at pocnet.net
Thu Jun 13 12:37:58 BST 2019

Package: libemail-valid-perl
Version: 1.202-1
Severity: important

Module verifies

"Patrik Schindler" <poc at pocnet.net>

as correct but fails to verify

<poc at pocnet.net>

as correct. Email::Valid->details contains "rfc822". I'm not sure if an address
without comments but with brackets is violating RFC822, though.
