Indeed. That's because the package fails to build from source
and thus could not be rebuilt against perl 5.30: #942135

Note that libgtk2-perl will not be part of the next Debian stable
release, and was removed from Debian testing already, so if you
did not do so yet, now is a very good time to migrate code
to Gtk3 (libgtk3-perl).
