Source: libdbd-odbc-perl
Version: 1.61-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
The recent upload of unixodbc 2.3.9-2 to unstable triggered libdbd-odbc-perl's
autopkgtests, which fail because odbcinst is not installed.
In previous versions of unixodbc, odbcinst was installed via odbcinst1debian2,
which was a dependency of unixodbc-dev.
odbcinst is no longer a dependency due to the creation of new binary packages
and file movement.
I'm uncertain whether odbcinst should be a dependency of autopkgtest-pkg-perl.
However, adding odbcinst as a build-dependency of libdbd-odbc-perl allowed the
tests to pass.
Please add odbcinst to the relevant control file as soon as possible to help
unixodbc migrate.
