This package is currently uninstallable with Perl 5.34, which bundles 2.102.

 The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libperl5.34 : Breaks: libio-compress-perl (< 2.102)

2.102 is on CPAN and would be a short term fix, but going forward we should
consider if we need the separate package at all.
