So you do not agree with me that simply *documenting* the issue would be
sufficient?  May be I did not expressed it explicit enough:  I'm not
against the new feature.  I simply think that the fact that some old
behaviour might be broken is not sufficiently documented.  I think that
mentioning it in the manpage as well as possibly in some NEWS.Debian is
OK.  I'm not against progress but please document potential pitfalls.
