Package: pdl
Version: 1:2.081-1+b1
Severity: serious
Justification: dpkg unpack error

Attempting to unpack pdl/1:2.081-1+b1 from Debian bookworm
on a minimal Debian bullseye with libpdl-stats-perl/0.76-1
installed, causes an unpack error from dpkg due to
/usr/share/man/man3/PDL::GSL::CDF.3pm.gz being contained in both packages.

| (Reading database ... 7926 files and directories currently installed.)
| Preparing to unpack ./pdl_1%3a2.081-1+b1_amd64.deb ...
| Unpacking pdl (1:2.081-1+b1) over (1:2.025-1) ...
| dpkg: error processing archive ./pdl_1%3a2.081-1+b1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
| trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man3/PDL::GSL::CDF.3pm.gz', which is also in package libpdl-stats-perl 0.76-1
| dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
| Errors were encountered while processing:
| ./pdl_1%3a2.081-1+b1_amd64.deb

Please ensure that pdl has sufficient Breaks and Replaces declarations.

Helmut
