Package: ocsinventory-server
Version: 2.8.1+dfsg1+~2.11.1-1
Current ocsinventory-server has in debian/control:
Suggests: default-mysql-server | virtual-mysql-server,
Please consider changing this to:
Suggests: mariadb-server
The change reflects the fact that MariaDB is effectively the recommended
alternative:
1) The documentation at
https://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/01.Prerequisites/Libraries-version/ says
"Note : We highly recommend to use MariaDB".
2) The package in Debian has been using exclusively MariaDB in all official
Debian releases since Debian 9 "stretch" from 2017. Debian 8 "jessie" was
last official Debian release to ship with MySQL.
