So lintian is already using this flag to disable TLD validation, so if
Data::Validate::Domain was just a bit more updated we would not be here
:)
@formorer: would you be fine with the perl team taking over the package
and update it?

This is also a very fair point, so whilst I'm reassigning this ticket
