That was a bug: the version of Data::Validate::Domain in the archive did
not support disabling TLD validation and so Lintian did validate them.
I actually patched Lintian yesterday to restore the old behavior with
the new version of Data::Validate::Domain by removing that variable.

This issue should really be fixed in libnet-domain-tld-perl. I don't see
why we can't just add a patch to the upstream code to add the .fun TLD... :)
