Help needed with an RFP/ITP

Hi,

Asciio (https://github.com/nkh/P5-App-Asciio) used to have a debian
package (and other distros based on debian like ubuntu) but the
maintenance stopped and the old package couldn't be installed
everywhere due to an older version of GTK.

Installation information is available
(https://nkh.github.io/P5-App-Asciio/guide/installation.html) but
having a debian package sounds like the most efficient way for the en
users (we're working on an installer for windows too).

Could someone take over the maintenance of the old package? Could
someone help by pointing in the right direction? Is it possible to get
the source for the older package (which I can't find)?

Asciio is still documented in debian man pages but can't be installed
(https://manpages.debian.org/unstable/asciio/asciio.1.en.html).


A lot of work was done in 2023 in asciio, GTK dependencies were
updated, display speed made an order of magnitude better, and lot of
new functionality added.
