Package: libexperimental-perl
Version: 0.034-1
Severity: important

Usertags: perl-5.42-transition
The 'experimental' module contained in this package is older than the one
bundled with Perl 5.42 (currently in the Debian 'experimental' archive
suite.) They should not be installed together, as the older separate
version would then override the newer one bundled with Perl. This is
reflected in the perl-modules-5.42 dependency metadata:
perl-modules-5.42:amd64 Breaks libexperimental-perl (< 0.035)
The package therefore needs to be either updated to a newer version or
removed from testing before perl can migrate to testing.
This is not very urgent, but can be easily and usefully solved right away,
as CPAN has an even newer version available.
Perl 5.40: 0.032
Perl 5.42: 0.035
CPAN: 0.036
If you want to test changes against Perl 5.42 in experimental and run
into uninstallability problems, there is a test repository of rebuilt
Debian sid packages for amd64 available at <https://perl.debian.net/>.
