I had a _brief_ look today, one hopefully final thing still needed in 
both packages is probably:

* libgearman-client-perl: versioned (test) dep on gearman-server (>= version with rename/patch)
* gearman-server: versioned breaks on libgearman-client-perl (<< version with patch in tests)
