Package: libtest-mocktime-hires-perl
Version: 0.08-2
Severity: important
User: debian-perl at lists.debian.org
Usertags: perl-5.44-transition
Forwarded: https://github.com/tarao/perl5-Test-MockTime-HiRes/issues/12

This package warns on usage with Perl 5.44 (currently in experimental.)

  $ perl -we 'use Test::MockTime::HiRes'
  Prototype mismatch: sub Time::HiRes::sleep (;$) vs (;@) at /usr/share/perl5/Test/MockTime/HiRes.pm line 62.

This is https://github.com/tarao/perl5-Test-MockTime-HiRes/issues/12
and there's a possible fix at https://github.com/tarao/perl5-Test-MockTime-HiRes/pull/13

The warning causes a debci regression, which is a blocker for a Perl 5.44
transition. There's an example debci log at

  https://ci.debian.net/packages/libt/libtest-mocktime-hires-perl/unstable/amd64/76870162/

If you want to test changes against Perl 5.44 in experimental and run
into uninstallability problems, there is a test repository of rebuilt
Debian sid packages for amd64 available at <https://perl.debian.net/>.
