Probably.

Note that I cannot reproduce this behavior on my laptop.

The Tk bug is probably triggered by these lines used to check whether a display is available on not and the following call to test_app, which creates another MainWindow:

SKIP: {
    my $mw = eval { MainWindow-> new ; };

    # cannot create Tk window
    skip "Cannot create Tk window",1 if $@;
    $mw->destroy ;

    {
        my $result = test_app( 'App::Cme' => [ qw/meta edit fstab -system -test-and-quit q/ ]) ;

IIRC, I've added the eval/skip lines because a display may not be available on cpantesters.org.

That said, debian/rules run these tests with xvfb-run, so a display (albeit pseudo) is always available.

Since the fix on Perl/Tk may no come anytime soon, I'll patch these tests to avoid hitting Perl/Tk bug and unblock libconfig-model-iself-perl.

Does that sound reasonable ?

Last but not least, thanks for the notice: you've spared me some hours of debugging. 😅

All the best
