Nice, I was looking forward such a confirmation since I'm a bit busy
with hugin and luxrender right now.

I'm all for including such a patch, but I'd like to hear from Giuseppe
first. If a say 1.9.1 release is on its way, I might wait and push the
new upstream release instead. Otherwise, I'll just go and cherry-pick
the appropriate revision(s) in svn.

Giuseppe, note that I'm not trying to push you to release, just saying
both ways are OK with me, I'd just like to know what you're planning
to do. :-)
