I've read a brief summary, indeed. I'm wondering what the current status
of Sony is. I seem to recall that in case the patents are not being
enforced, it might be OK to include such work into Debian. I guess that
it specially applies if there's a consensus stating there's no actual
infringement.

Oops, I meant documentating why such a (noop) script is needed, where to
find autopano tools, etc.

OK, I thought so (no stable API), but preferred to make sure.
