I handed "/etc/udev/rules.d gphoto" over to Google and have found used
in the last 1-2 yrs:
45-gphoto.rules
54- "
70- "
90- "
99-camera.rules
gphoto.rules
Looks like it's a free-for-all. :)
Archlinux had a similar problem with HPLIP and gphoto; for a short time
the fix was to place gphoto's rules ahead of 55-hpmud.rules (that is
where the 54-gphoto.rules came from), then become a member of group
camera if you wanted to use the printer. :) A new gphoto package
sorted things out for them.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find anything as comprehensive as
packages.debian.org for other distros so don't don't have a clue what
the current situation is with the latest releases.
