it's available already (e.g. on amd64):
  qtpfsgui |    1.9.3-1 |       testing | amd64
  qtpfsgui |    1.9.3-1 |      unstable | amd64

Were you talking about a possible upload to backports.org? One can't
update the packages in the stable release without a very good reason.
