[Pkg-phototools-devel] Libtool .la files in plotutils-dev

Hi

I'm the maintainer of plotutils and am looking at packaging the new
upstream version (2.6).  While checking the Policy updates I notice
that section 10.2 now recomends to remove .la files from packages,
however I can only do this if none of the dependencies need these
anymore.

Since you are maintaining a package that depends on libplot I'd like
to ask if you could let me know if your package (still) depends on the
libtool .la files so I can leave them in as required.
