Thanks. Just for completeness sake: Resetting the CP-Detector settings
(Open File->Preferences, switch to the [Control Point Detectors] tab
and activate the [Load Defaults] button.) worked perfectly well with
2011.0.0+dfsg~beta3 from experimental.
