Just to not have this sitting here uncommented: I actually had started
packaging the newr openexr stack (openexr/ilmbase) but failed at
ilmbase:

* ilmbase 1.0.2 fails at make check with

* ilmbase GIT head as of 2012-07-25 still fails to build from source
on i386 (tested with Debian i386 userland and *both* i686 and amd64
kernels.) with
