Here they come. It are 3 parts which I have cut out of a single slide
just to see how Hugin works (I am new to this kind of software).

I did repeat the crash right now again and have to add/correct my
observation:

With the assistant step 1 "load pictures" the file dialog box pops up and
a) I selected the attached 3 images and clicked "Apply". Then
b) I get presented another mask asking for lens data and entered
     a focal length of 28mm.
c) Clicking "Ok" then makes Hugin crash.

Remark:
The focal length of 28mm applies to the lens I used to take the original
slide on 24x36mm film. It was later digitized with a professional Nikon
slide-scanner at 2,500 dpi.
