I (as the person who is driving the tasks concept in general but not
feeling responsible to maintain multimedia tasks in special) think that
there is a good chance that there is no specific reason to exclude it
from this list but nobody minded to include it.  Inclusion of a package
is an active process while leaving packages out nobody has to do
anything ... until somebody as you comes up with a perfectly valid
question.  BTW, I once creates some *inofficial* set of tasks just for
imaging which is not advertised somewhere and not maintained actively as
well since there is no volunteer to maintain it:

Feel free to suggest in what task you'd like to see exiv2.

That's a pretty orthogonal issue.  There is no correlation between a
package listed on some task and the maintenance of the package itself.

care for the package.
